"Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful" (Joshua J. Marine)
The 12 in 12 Challenge is as the name suggests; 12 arduous adventures in 12 relentless months... for 1 fantastic cause.
From May 2011, 4 young men will challenge themselves both physically and mentally for their own personal achievement, and in aid of Parkinson's UK.
For us, as active individuals, the thought of being struck down with such an illness as Parkinson's is unthinkable. You only have to look at the great Muhammad Ali to see how much of a crippling affect Parkinson's can have on even the strongest of persons.
Parkinson's UK's work is totally dependent on donations. It's only with yours' and our help that they can continue vital research projects, and provide support and information. Help find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's by donating HERE.
The "12 in 12" follows on from the successful Great Coast to Peak Challenge which, in 2010, raised £4,000.00 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
